Risky Behavior/Rich Rewards

Matthew 14:27-29 (KJV) But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

As we approach Resurrection Day, I have contemplated the sacrifice Christ made for our future.  He took a huge risk (in our eyes). Giving His life for us was a leap of faith. Father and Son agreed on this perilous plan, because They knew we needed saving; and believed we were worth it.

If we can push aside the fear that freezes, there are glorious rewards.  Fear of the unknown, failure and even success can keep us from being overcomers.

When you step out by faith, there is risk and reward. Remember, when Peter got out of the boat, he was going toward Jesus, and when he took his eyes off the Master, he was pulled under.

Female in Motion Health Update: The topsy-turvy weather we're having is wreaking havoc with my joints. I'm going back to my family practice doctor this week to have a checkup and talk about insomnia and my continuing depression.
