Peace, Be Still

Friends, I have been meditating on the storms of life vs. the peace only God can provide. I wanted to share some Scripture that has spoken to my heart. Psalm 107:29 (KJV)   He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Mark 4:37-39 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.   Matthew 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? I am feeling a little weary today, after a half-day of work, a Relay For Life meeting, and my first post-surgical grocery shopping trip, so I am posting a video of a Scott Krippayne song, "Sometimes He Calms the Storm." Several people have quoted lines from this song to me. It fits my current situation, and anyone else who is going through a difficult season. I've included the lyrics below, because they are so meaningful. You are not alone.
