Immature or Just Childish?

1 Peter 2:2 (KJV)  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Imagine a church full of people in diapers, with baby bottles. Horrifying, right? Once we become followers of Christ, it is vital that we grow and develop our faith. I'd much rather chew on a steak, than a rubber nipple.

I'm not the same person I used to be; I've changed. If you're a Christian, that's the goal...to become spiritually mature. The path to divine advancement is paved with stones of devoted prayer, Bible study and soul searching.

If you want to want to have a grown up faith, you have to step out of the playpen and walk with God.

Notable Quote:

"All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work. Work is not a curse; it is the prerogative of intelligence, the only means to manhood, and the measure of civilization."--Calvin Coolidge
